TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES
GENERAL INFORMATION
Local Teams (12-U only) will compete in a minimum of 10 tournaments that will be held in San Antonio and surrounding areas (New Braunfels, Seguin, Schertz)
Regional Teams will compete in a minimum of 12 tournaments which will be held in San Antonio & Austin. They will also compete in two Regional Qualifiers which are held in Dallas & Houston. If your team qualifies and obtains a bid, you will have the opportunity to compete at the USAV Junior Olympic Tournament. However, the tournament fee and all Coaching expenses are not included in your tuition and every player must agree to attend.
National Teams will compete in a minimum of 12 tournaments. Most of the tournaments will be held in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and Dallas. These teams will compete in the two Texas qualifiers and in one out of state qualifier tournament during the regular season. The National Team fee includes the USAV Junior Olympic Tournament or the AAU Tournament.
Some tournaments will require overnight stay. We will designate a place for the team to stay and will find the best team rate. We encourage everyone to stay at the same location, Volleyball is a team sport and we feel that keeping all the players at the same location will contribute to the team’s chemistry.
Players are expected to arrive at the designated tournament site at least ONE HOUR before their first scheduled match or referee/scorekeeping assignment.
If you know in advance that your child will not be able to attend a tournament, please notify your Coach or the Director ASAP.
Teams are responsible for bringing their own meals and drinks to every tournament. Chairs, ice chests, and tables are usually allowed. Teams will play at least three to four matches at each tournament so we suggest healthy foods, fruits and drinks to keep them hydrated and fed, (not full). We suggest each team designate a team Mom or Dad, to coordinate these responsibilities.
And last but not least, keep in mind that you are representing Impact Volleyball. We expect every player and parent to “EXEMPLIFY THE UTMOST CHARACTER, RESPECT, AND COMPETITIVE SPIRIT, ON AND OFF THE COURT”.
