Brittany was born and raised in San Antonio and has been playing volleyball since she was 8 years old. She is a former IMPACT National team player and had the opportunity to qualify for the Junior National Tournament multiple times during her club career. She graduated from Brandeis High School and was elected team captain by her coaches and peers, she was named team MVP, and was selected All District. Brittany received a scholarship to play college volleyball at Texas A&M Kingsville and was the starting Libero during her time there. She is currently a fulltime student and working towards her Nursing degree. “I enjoy coaching and helping young players reach their potential as athletes and as individuals”
Janelle is a San Antonio native and a former IMPACT player. She graduated from Southwest High School and was a varsity player all four years. During her time at Southwest HS, she was selected 1st & 2nd Team All-District, MVP and Co-MVP. She is currently a student athlete at OLLU majoring in Secondary Math and is also the starting setter and captain of the team. During her time at OLLU, she has also been named Champion of Character, Setter of the Week, Scholar Athlete, and 2nd Team All-Conference.
Janelle has coached Regional and National teams during her three seasons with IMPACT. “I’m always excited to share my passion for volleyball and my experiences with younger players. My coaching philosophy emphasizes communication, hustle, hard work, dedication, being a great teammate, and learning to compete with character in practice and at tournaments. I will give my players everything I have to make this a great season”!
Evelyn is the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at South San High School. She was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Texas in 1999. She graduated from Holmes High School in 2006 and was awarded best Defensive Specialist for the 2005-2006 season. Evelyn played her first two years at Laredo Community College then transferred to the University of Texas in San Antonio in 2008. She was the Libero in 2010 when UTSA won the Southland Conference Volleyball Championship. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelors degree of Science in Mathematics and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Education.
Wrenee is a native of San Antonio and a graduate of Holmes High School and UTSA. She’s is married with 3 girls and both she and her husband are high school coaches. She has been the Varsity Volleyball Assistant and the JV/Varsity Track assistant at Judson High school for the past five years where she has helped lead the girls track team to back to back Track State Championships. She has also been a National team coach with IMPACT for the last seven years.
Amber is a San Antonio native and a graduate of Judson High School. Both her Mom and Dad are high school coaches so coaching is in her blood. While at Judson, she was the starting Setter on varsity all 4 years and played at the club level for 10 years. She started playing volleyball at the age of 8 and developed a great passion for the game. Amber played for IMPACT and during her club career, her teams qualified for the Junior National Tournament numerous times.
Stephanie is a native of Seguin, TX. She graduated from Seguin High School then attended The University of Texas – Pan America where she played four years of Division I volleyball as a Middle Blocker. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2006 and is currently working as a Pediatric Registered Nurse.
Stephanie has been coaching club volleyball for five years and has worked many volleyball camps, clinics, and private lessons. She enjoys the game of volleyball and continues to share her knowledge and passion for the game with all age levels and is always finding new ways to teach the fundamentals and improve every players mental aspect of the game.
Her goal is to instill a greater passion for the game and hopes that each player she comes in contact with will walk away with improved skills and knowledge, both on the court and in life. “Seeing the progression that comes from hard work and dedication is what keeps me wanting to coach year after year”!
Nancy attended the University of the Incarnate Word where she played volleyball and basketball all four years and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education. She is currently teaching Art at Edison High School and has coached volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country at both Edison and Burbank High School. Nancy has over 25 years of coaching experience and has been coaching club since 2004. She has coached national teams since 2005 for ages 12-18 and has received five National Junior Olympic bids during that time.
“With all my years of experience in coaching sports, I realized that volleyball is my true passion. I try to instill great work ethic, dedication, and unity in every lesson and practice. I love watching an athlete’s progress and all their improvements from beginning to end. Having fun is a key factor and winning comes along with that”.
Patricia is a San Antonio native. She played volleyball for Judson high school, then went on to play at UT Dallas where she played Middle Blocker. During her tenure at UTD, her team won two conference championships and made it to the Division 3 NCAA tournament twice. Patricia majored in Gender Studies and Political Science and also has a Masters in Legal Studies.
Patricia has coached for clubs in Dallas, Albuquerque, and New Braunfels. She’s been coaching for eight years at the club level and has coached 12’s thru 18’s age divisions. “I love to coach and watch players grow and develop not only their volleyball skills but as individuals. I want to leave a impact on them, that it is not only about the skill they have, but about becoming a good person in life”. I love dogs, I have 3 and always want more! J I have a 2 year old son who is my mini me and I love spending time with him playing all kinds of sports.
