About IMPACT Volleyball
IMPACT Volleyball Club was established in October of 2005 and is under the direction of Ernie Leija. Our primary focus and objective is to provide an organized and competitive volleyball instructional program that will prepare young female athletes to compete at the highest level of competition in their respective age divisions. We accomplish this by teaching the most successful and proven techniques in the game today.
Our philosophy is to “compete with character” so we expect every athlete that joins our program to exemplify the utmost character, respect, and competitive spirit, on and off the court.
Volleyball Parent & Player Guidelines
Guidelines: Parents and players are expected to support their Coach and IMPACT guidelines. Any discussion with Coaches regarding playing time at a tournament is strictly prohibited. Questions or concerns regarding your child’s participation at practice or tournaments or issues with another player will be brought to the Club Director’s attention first. The Coach’s responsibility is to coach, not to babysit. If a child is not cooperating during practice or at a tournament, the matter will be brought to the Club Director by the Coach and will be addressed accordingly.
- The first incident will be addressed in a Player/Coach meeting.
- The second incident will be addressed in a Parent/Player/Coach/Director meeting.
- The third incident will result in a suspension from team practices and tournaments.
- If a player or parent is unhappy and leaves during a tournament, the player will not be allowed to return to the team for the remainder of the season.
Attitude is a critical part of any team’s success and we believe that the quality of your attitude will determine the quality of your outlook towards the team goal. We understand the competitive nature of the game but negative attitudes on and off the court with teammates or opposing players will not be tolerated.

Volleyball Practice Times & Locations
- Teams will practice twice a week at the Lutheran High School or at TMI on designated weekdays and weekends.
- Every member of every team is expected to attend every practice. We understand that certain situations are beyond your control such as illness, family emergencies, and school functions. Should any of these situations arise, you are expected to notify your Coach at your earliest opportunity.
- Unexcused absences and tardiness may result in extra conditioning and may affect your child’s tournament playing time. Each situation will be handled individually and will be addressed by the Coach.
- Practices will be held at the Lutheran High School (LHS) and at TMI.
- LHS is located at 18104 Babcock Rd
TMI is located at 20955 W Tejas Trl. - Please keep in mind that we practice at private school facilities and that gym availability can change.
- If your practice is canceled or if your practice time changes, you will be notified in advance.
- Canceled practices will be made up at a later date.
- Only water is allowed in the gyms and all trash must be picked up after each team’s practice.
- Teams will not practice on December 24th, December 25th, December 31st, or January 1st
- All parents driving through the gate will need a valid driver’s license.
- Please allow time to pass through security.
- TMI will schedule the gate to be open for all practices.
- The gate does not retract so please do not attempt to enter or exit while the gate is closing. Neither TMI nor IMPACT Volleyball will be responsible for any damages caused.
- IMPACT players and parents will have access to the bathrooms located in the lower level but are not allowed to be in any other part of the building except the gymnasiums and lobby areas.

Volleyball Club Tuition Info
Your club tuition is all-inclusive: Coaching salaries, uniforms, equipment, gym rental, and all regular season tournament fees. Post Season fees are included for 12U-17U National Teams.
We understand that this is a financial investment in your child, but because we do not have a profit margin built into each team, it is imperative that payments are made on time. Club fees are non-refundable, and your initial down payment is applied to your total club fee.
** Payments are due no later than the 1st of each month beginning August 1st.
A $25.00 late fee will be assessed if your payment is past due and your child will not be allowed to practice or compete at tournaments until your account is current.
Payments can be made by check, cash, or Debit/Credit card. Payments can also be made via automatic bank withdrawal (ACH), or by mail. Payments made in person will be taken by club staff.
